Jeans
I haven't met anyone who actually enjoys jean shopping, but this
BLOG
I found makes you realize "It's not me, it's the jeans!" Don't forget to read her post about the
"Proper Fitting of Jeans"
and
"Mom Jeans and the Dreaded Long Butt."
Of course I immediately had to try on MY jeans to see if they were fitting properly from what I learned.
The only 'butt' she forgot to mention was the 'diaper butt.' My friend explained to me what this was about a year ago. It's pretty self explanatory.
But in case you need a visual

...it is when your jeans become baggy or stretched out in the upper area.

Summer
Probably about time I updated the blog! I'm still working a couple days a week and finishing school at Weber, Josh is building water walls and lately, cars. We bought a couple cars that needed a few repairs and mine just got finished! yay! We sold my old car to my brother so I had been driving the truck around....I am worried I will run over something or someone when I drive it. My ankles are covered in mosquito bites right now:( The last 2 years I've lived in Utah the mosquitoes haven't been bad, but this past month I've felt like I'm back in South Carolina!
We had Alyssa, her husband Tim, and Nathan over for dinner the other night. It was so fun! I thought "wow we are like adults now! getting together for dinner! weird." It is nice to have them living in Utah and in the same city as me!
Here is my secret plan....I have already gotten Alyssa out to Utah, and now Nathan...so all I need now is Maria, Caroline, Sarah, and Michael....4 more to go, and my parents will HAVE to move out here! That would be so much fun to have them out here! Especially whenever we have kids. Free babysitters!!! Just kidding. Plus that isn't for a few more years;) But seriously, as fun as it would be to have my parents out here, it would be sad if they moved. They live in such a beautiful place and have such a wonderful ward in South Carolina, I would be sad if they moved. Bluffton is still my 'home', where I am from:) Plus it is fun to travel and visit them out there in vacation land. We need to work on planning our next trip out there!
uhhh my ankles itch!!!!
Something fun we have been up to this year is our YARD! I never thought that one day I would get so excited over a blue spruce! Or even know what one was. ----------> that is one--->
So yes, I am an adult now, I get excited over trees, bushes, and flowers.
I will have to post pictures of how our yard has blossomed this year:) It is looking so good!!! We have transplanted a lot of things and still have some flowers that we need to move for next year (like the mums....they like exploded, which we weren't planning on! way too big for where they are currently located).
The back yard we aren't even going to touch until next year. Except we did pull all the weeds back there.
Josh is just a wonderful husband as always:) We have been married for 1 1/2 years now. The other day he said "don't unload the dishwasher, I'll do that when I get home." awww. We have been teaching the sunbeam class for over a year now and still love that calling! Josh is so good with the kids. Whenever I come to sharing time first they say "where is josh?" or "where is the other teacher?" Yesterday when Josh realized he was going to be out of town for the primary program he looked at me with a huge frowny face. I was so confused, I was like "what?" And he said, "I'm going to be out of town for the program! I've never get to see those!" (referring to last year's that we were out of town for also) lol he is cute.
Speaking of cute here is a picture of our adorable niece and nephews earlier this summer with uncle joshy.
That's all that is new in our lives that I can think of......

Sleep Talking
Several months ago, I was reading in bed one morning while Josh was asleep. All the sudden he props himself up and says,
"Theodore, from the Chipmunks?"
Then he laid back down. I giggled and said "what did you say?" There was no response. I looked at his face and he was totally out! I asked him about it later and he had no idea what I was talking about. I thought it was so funny though!
Recently, as in the last few days, there has been some more sleep talking so I thought it'd be funny to share. Please leave comments if you have had any experiences like this!
The other day Josh told me, "You know, you talked in your sleep last night." I said "really? haha what did I say???" (I was thinking it was probably just mumbles, but hopefully something more interesting!). He said "you said something, and I was like what? and then you said,
"I'm so pretty."
haha! well, I guess I have a good self image!
So today........Sunday afternoon.......home from church where we teach the sunbeams.......josh is taking a nap and I am doing homework sitting next to him. It was weird, because at first I thought he had woken up and was telling me something. Then I realized he is sleep talking, and then I'm trying to make sense of what he said, it all just happens so fast! Anyways, he spoke very clearly and said,
"Step 1! grab a banana. Step 2! open the banana. Step 3! eat the banana."
lolololololololol!!!! seriously! I was dying laughing!
An hour after the banana directions, he is still sleeping and I am still studying. He rolls over, and again as soon as he starts talking I think he's awake and saying something to me, only to my disbelief and complete amusement he is talking in his sleep again! He says in a cutesy voice,
"Back to nursery with you! You can do it little one! Common (pushes his hands against me), common! (pushes again)."
hehehehehehe!!! He is so funny! Of course when he wakes up another hour later (yes, a 3 hour nap), I tell him what he said and he has no idea why he would've said it. Pretty cute.
